best part – GRUB! When you are planning a event, any event there are things to think about before beginning your festivities. How many people will possibly attend? Will the party be indoors or outdoors? It’s important for your 4th of July food planning be as smooth as possible.

If you are going to have a main dish, keep it simple. Things such as hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and finger foods are great. Isn’t the 4th of July about cooking out and just having fun?
Things for the kid’s could include: Red, white and blue kool-aid, patriotic colored cupcakes and also angel food cake with strawberries, whipped cream and blueberries would be fun too.
Desserts can be a sheet cake that you make or purchase that has an American Flag on it or just decorated in red, white and blue. Also fun is to do red, white and blue chocolate covered strawberries. Easy!
You shouldn’t be spending alot of money on food and or spending alot of time. The 4th of July is about celebrating and that means being with your family and friends.
